Der Roman Solo: A Star Wars Story ist die Roman-Adaption des Films Solo: A Star Wars Story und wurde von Mur Lafferty geschrieben. Veröffentlicht wurde er auf Englisch am 4. September 2018 bei Del Rey und auf Deutsch am 10. Dezember 2018 bei Penhaligon. Auf Englisch erschien dann ebenfalls eine vorgelesene Version des Romans. Das Buch handelt, wie auch der Film, von der Flucht des jungen Han Solos von Corellia und seinen Abenteuern im Jahr 10 VSY, es werden allerdings rausgeschnittene und ergänzende Szenen in den Roman verarbeitet sein.
